VitaSync Backup helps you export selected health, activity, workout, and sleep data from Apple Health and save those export files locally or upload them to your own Google Drive account. This Privacy Policy explains what information VitaSync Backup accesses and how it is handled.

Information VitaSync Backup accesses

VitaSync Backup may request permission to read selected Apple Health data types, including activity, heart, workout, sleep, and related health metrics. VitaSync Backup only reads the categories you authorize in Apple Health.

How your data is used

VitaSync Backup uses authorized Apple Health data to generate export files such as JSON, CSV, and Markdown files. These files may be saved locally on your device and, if you connect Google Drive, uploaded to your own Google Drive account.

Google Drive uploads

If you connect Google Drive, VitaSync Backup uploads export files to your Google Drive using the permissions granted by Google. VitaSync Backup requests access only to files it creates or opens through the app. VitaSync Backup does not operate its own server to collect or store your health export files.

Local storage

VitaSync Backup may keep local export files, upload records, settings, and sync status on your device so the app can show history, retry failed uploads, and manage sync behavior.

Third-party services

VitaSync Backup may interact with Apple Health, Google Sign-In, and Google Drive when you choose to use those features. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies and account settings.

Data sharing

VitaSync Backup does not sell your health data. VitaSync Backup does not share your health export files with the developer's own server. Data is shared only with the cloud provider or destination you select, or as required by law.

Your choices

You can manage Apple Health permissions in the Apple Health app. You can disconnect Google Drive in VitaSync Backup or in your Google account settings. You can delete local export files or Google Drive files from your device or Google Drive account.

Children's privacy

VitaSync Backup is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
